We’re living in an era where it’s becoming harder to distinguish between shitposting and actual shit someone said in most serious tone possible

What a fucking weirdo. Nobody should stop having sex with their wives because this guy thinks it’s gay.

The man in this video is Josiah Moody, not Luke Moody. Luke Beasley is the person interviewing him. Moody appeared on Beasley’s show The Grudge with his wife, Isabella, in December 2024.

That being said, the actual statement attributed to him is essentially accurate. Moody explicitly said that he does not value sex primarily for orgasm or pleasure, but for reproduction. He then argued that sex between a man and woman becomes “gay sex” when it is pursued for pleasure rather than reproduction. When asked about infertile people, he said he was “pro people committing to celibacy for the rest of their life.”

And this is where the argument goes completely off the rails.

He is objectively wrong about what “gay sex” means. Gay sex means sexual activity between people of the same sex. That is literally what the word homosexual means. A man having sex with his wife is heterosexual sex regardless of whether they are trying to conceive, whether she has an orgasm, whether she is using birth control, or whether conception is biologically possible.

His argument does not actually redefine homosexuality. He is simply taking the word “gay,” attaching an entirely unrelated criterion to it, which is whether sex is procreative, and then pretending that his personal definition supersedes the ordinary meaning of the word.

And the reproductive argument is equally absurd. Sex does not become non heterosexual because pregnancy does not occur. Most acts of heterosexual intercourse do not result in pregnancy. Ovulation only occurs during a limited portion of the menstrual cycle, contraception prevents pregnancy, infertility exists, menopause exists, and pregnancy itself is not guaranteed even when conception is biologically possible.

By his reasoning, a heterosexual married couple who has sex on a day when the woman is not fertile is having “gay sex.” A couple using a condom is having “gay sex.” A postmenopausal heterosexual couple is having “gay sex.” A heterosexual couple who simply enjoys sex without attempting to conceive is having “gay sex.”

That is not a controversial interpretation of heterosexuality. It is simply objectively nonsensical.

And frankly, the most ridiculous part is that he seems to believe that female sexual pleasure somehow makes heterosexual sex less heterosexual. A man having sex with his wife and giving her an orgasm is, by every conventional definition imaginable, heterosexual sex. There is absolutely nothing homosexual about it.

He is certainly entitled to believe that his own sex life should be exclusively reproductive. If he wants to have sex only when attempting to conceive, that is his business. But the moment he starts claiming that everyone else’s heterosexual sex becomes homosexual because they are not trying to reproduce, he has left the realm of describing his personal values and entered the realm of making an objectively false claim about what words mean.

So yes, the meme is based on a real statement. The man’s name is wrong, but the underlying stupidity is unfortunately genuine.

    Dear boys,

Making yourself happy is making a guy happy and therefore gay.

Being mad. That’s the straightest you can be.

    Even gay means happy.

Don’t be happy (gay), stay mad (straight).

    Checkmate, atheists.

Angry men who hate women will vote conservative, this keeps the bill/trillionaires supplied with miserable wage slaves and all the capital flowing up to them.

It’s not just maga, this is happening globally.

I am so flabbergasted knowing this isn’t the first time I’ve seen someone unironically consider having sex with women to be gay.

I’d say any woman who actively chooses to stay with someone like that out of free will deserves a pleasure-free life - these women are betraying their own because they are providing support to those who want them to be slave-like baby factories.

There was a big article yesterday in one of the magazines about how a new cohort of tradwives age 18-20 are going all in, of course the women actually work doing content production but pretend it’s just churning butter and getting on their knees. And the funny part is, they’re being railed at by thousands of people, including former tradwives just 22 years old, about how they’re idiots for refusing to save emergency cash or have careers outside of the marriage, because they assume they can “monetize the divorce” if it comes to that.

I remember what it was like to make bad decisions at 18 but holy christ, they’re running head first into a brick wall.

I can’t even blame young women in that age group too much - at first it sounds like a nice arrangement, being a SAHM and housekeeper, not having to deal with the complexities and bullshit of being in the workforce. But this comes with a barrage of issues:

          • You don’t get any experience at a time where others are getting tertiary education or are already in the workforce getting experience. The longer you wait with these things, the harder it gets to actually get a job if you need one
          • You are at the economic mercy of your significant other, and this fact alone enables abuse. If your partner knows that they have full control over your finances, they might be tempted to use that power, because you can’t do shit. They also have the ability to prevent you from leaving, at least on your terms, and you might not even be able to lawyer up in case of a divorce.
          • The economic situation also means that if you are able to escape an abusive relationship, you might not have the financial means of providing for your children - which might cause them to live with the person you fled from, another reason why escaping when things turn sour is a daunting task
          • You don’t work towards your pension, ensuring that you will spend your old age at the absolute minimum the state provides.
          • Having children takes a harsh toll on your body even when being 18 - 21 where your body is in a great shape. Having many comes with a bunch of issues you might not even realize you signed up for.
          • All of these things are also an issue when your partner is caring. They might die, or even worse, become disabled, leaving you with no ability to provide resources needed for medical care. They also might decide they want a divorce, leaving you with no income besides child support and whatever basic security your state provides.

These things should be taught at school, pretty early on, and repeated during the course of primary/secondary education at the respective levels of understanding for the age. And they should be taught regardless of gender, because the lesson of “giving up your autonomy is a very bad thing (outside of tightly defined situations in the bedroom if it’s your thing)” is one that all kids can profit from. Sadly, with the dismantling of education and pushback on gender right (it’s not just womens - these strict gender norms are hurting everyone regardless of gender - but they and the trans community bear the brunt of the assault) i can’t see the US actually trying to prevent slipping back over 100 years regarding these things, and this bullshit is also coming over the pond like an giant oil spill.

Yeah I saw this youbtube video. She definitely didn’t like the idea but kept her mouth shut. This was a project Luke Beasley was doing with them and the husband was too toxic off camera for them to continue the project.

A few years ago I saw a pastor who wanted to lock all the gays up and “put the men with the men and the women with the women so they couldn’t breed” and I’ve thought about him ever since.
