Dutch research recently showed birds brought pfas and other bad stuff into pristine nature when feeding their young because ecosystems are big. No way physically untouched nature means not influenced by humans nature.

Magyar has the same political views as Orbán, which in my opinion is a problem, but he doesn’t seem to have the same amount of love for Putin. I rather have one problem then two problems. Guess same goes for the people in Ukraine that need that humanitarian aid. Please do continue to address all the problems though, better that than act all problems magically vanished all of a sudden.

Maybe the fault of why these people go to social media in the first place, but not the fault why these people spend hours everyday using their apps. Putting in addictive algorithms is a serious crime imo.
I remember 5-10 years ago looking at China and thinking this sounds too crazy to be true, no way they give their citizens negative points for walking a red light, no way you can’t access the internet outside of China, no way you have to work 6 days 12 hours. Lately most of the times i thought ‘no way …’ it was after reading news about the US.

They made a nice tldr, felt like that is worth copying here:
On 9 July, only 314 MEPs voted to reject Chat Control 1.0 — short of the 361-vote absolute majority needed to stop it — so warrantless mass scanning of private messages continues until 2028. The fight over the permanent Chat Control 2.0 resumes in September. Take action now to demand your MEPs defend your private messages.

Thanks for sharing, no argument there. Non-chinese models on non-chinese systems are far superior when it comes to not spreading Chinese propaganda.

You’re right, i meant more we the people reading the news; not necessarily the intelligence community or the politicians they inform.

Closed-source model from China running on a Chinese system ≠ open-source model from China on a European system though.

Proton has seen some backlash in general and there is quite some hate out there on ai, and while i agree ai causes some very big problem, still: this does make Lumo relevant to me. Haven’t tried image generation, but web search and file upload seem for me good enough to not use their competitors for that.

Just because the those models don’t show / use your chat history doesn’t mean they can’t store it. More a warning than a counter argument though.

Same goes for other soft fruit. Quick tip to anyone here: the less you remove from a fruit of vegetable before you eat it, the more toxines are left on them - if you can’t afford to buy everything organic, consider the ones hard to wash and/or peel first.
I’m gonna be so happy when they lose, hope it will be Belgium, otherwise it will be Spain. Even with cheating they can never win both matches.
Edit: just learned US lost 4 - 1, can confirm i am really really happy about it.

Might not even matter how far removed it is from his writing. Don’t think i could start a bike company called Harry Potter or a fast food chain called LEGO.
Why not? It’s not like 5 years of greenhouse gass really causes that much problems /s
