LOL Like, they just now considered that?! C-Suites needed to take a pay cut instead and keep people hired to make games that would get them out of the financial fuckery the C-Suites got themselves into.
A Sharky Anthro
Just a dude on the internet, looking for content and fun! I love Linux, gaming, writing, reading, music, anime, walks, and occasionally movies too. Chronically ill and anxious too, that makes life quite interesting…At times. Also learning about my anthro shark leanings…Thanks furries for providing me with a safe place to explore this part of me!
I might blog a lot more at: https://brainbox.micro.blog/
Blogging, remains to be seen!

Well, there is an actual story…The initial boss fights don’t feel impossible anymore! You can actually face the first one around level 17 or so. The bosses still feel threatening without being pain sponges that were hard to burn down. It is achievable in the 5:00 timer the player is given to beat them with leveled but not super optimized Pals. There is a lot more structure story wise, naturally because that was one of the things which they were waiting on implementing for 1.0. I noticed that Pal distributions are different, I am encountering Mozzarina a lot sooner as an occasional spawn. I caught a few already for my farming base.
The base upgrade quests are different as they changed when certain techs are unlocked and learned, making it take a bit longer than normal. At least according to my hazy memory (took me longer to unlock two bases).

I already started a new world in the new update as they released it based on Japanese time, so it came out at around 11pm my time last night. The game feels smoother, and I got my first base established fairly fast.

Yep, the key is finding and disrupting the worst legislation and dealing with the petty shit post Trump. As this slime bag is going to have a lot of little annoying things passed before he dies in office.

Man, this is some serious Onion level bullshit…Given how fucked the US government is, it’s credible that all of this is going down. So many moving targets to protest, advocate against, and bully representatives over. Worse, there is so little time in the day to do all of this, but I will fucking try!

I kinda fell off a little bit because if I poured too much time in an early access game…I was concerned that I wouldn’t want to play it at 1.0. Played enough to get a good understanding that the game is actually great, and there is countless hours of fun to be had starting tomorrow!

You can if you want too, but like another commentor mentioned there have been major changes done to the world for the 1.0. You’d be playing at a disadvantage. I decided to start over because my first base was pretty inefficiently placed and it was a bitch to realistically move the first time. I decided that starting over with a clean slate but easy to retrieve pals is better.

I can’t wait to play the 1.0 version, its a better game than I thought initially. Just gotta transfer my current pals into that machine to retrieve them in the new world. Can’t wait till Friday!

After upgrading and optimization of my Quickhacks, Sneak, and Guns build…Synaptic Burnout was basically doing that. System Collapse is a nonlethal takedown that creates no noise or alerts, its pretty damn good!

That’s a relatively old glitch I though they finally patched. Pissed me off too, as I was going for a mostly nonlethal run. Had to reload a lot.

Synapse Burnout if they don’t have enough HP to tank the damage, Cyberpsychosis (if no other enemy is in range, the affected enemy kills themself). Blackwall Gateway can as well…Does lethal damage to characters with cyberware and tech implants. Detonate Grenade indirectly can kill a low health enemy… I can’t think of any others off the top of my head. As Quickhacks are meant to soften up enemies, for the most part.
Yeah, but ultimately, it was even easier with Garuda Linux which was built to be used. As my drivers were correctly selected when the installation began. It was a good surprise.
There is a command line workflow for installing NVIDIA drivers, but, the provided drivers (which Trixie was built against) were pretty moldy at that point. For just a simple productivity machine, Debian would’ve been my go to.
For one that is a gaming/entertainment/productivity machine…It wasn’t for me, personally. As Debian is pretty stable and mostly easy to use.
Glad you’ve had a good time post install, I’ve experienced a similar thing on Garuda Linux…It’s pretty smooth with the latest graphics drivers!
Man, you had it harder than me with the realtek drivers. PikaOS is pretty cool overall, as it does streamline some things that Debian makes annoying (graphics drivers, for example). I do hope you enjoy PikaOS, after troubleshooting that annoying issue! The good thing about anything Debian based is that .debs are probably the most prevalent installer out there (cries in Arch).

Terrible joke, but, to answer truthfully America is a melting pot. I believe in the strength born from people of numerous cultural backgrounds, as varied perspectives can contribute to building strong and innovative ideas/places/things. If anything, I am pro-immigration, I prefer people taking the legal route to becoming a citizen. Though I don’t agree with what ICE is being used to do at the moment. It’s cruel, despotic, and unethical to the max…MAGA feeds on the pain and suffering of fellow human beings, I do not.

Ugh, once again Tim Sweeney is being not only disingenuous, but also letting shit spill from his mouth. His desperation knows no bounds. If only people would just mock this idiot more.
If you do have some experience with Linux, I think perhaps Garuda Linux might be worth a shot. It’s based on Arch and makes it pretty easy to install Arch and configure it. I find their ChaoticAUR is probably one of the best repos. The Garuda team polices it and keeps bad malicious builds from being born on that repo. I’ve gotten a lot of great software from that place and never touched the actual AUR. In my experience of running Garuda Dr460nized KDE on my gaming PC, it’s been one of the best that I’ve ever had. Surprisingly, I haven’t jumped to another distro (notorious distrohopper here). My system is pretty stable and I’ve not had any problems with my installation of 2 months so far…
I chose Dr460nized because it is colorful and bold, but also customizable, it gives you a strong base to build off of. I also like Garuda Mokka, which has a chill, smoky, gray vibe to it!
Also, Mullvad VPN is in the Arch Extra Repo, you would just have to set it up by installing the application and the daemon which would run in the background. It’s not particularly difficult, and only takes barely 2 minutes.

Fucking ironic given he is an immigrant himself, the stupid cunt!
Of course another old white dude somehow finds a way to say LLMs are great when they are exiting the industry they worked in for years…Strange how this keeps happening, it changed what I was going to say. I was going to congratulate him, as he was bowing out of the industry at the right time, instead of pushing ahead after the Callisto Protocol flop…Seeking rest and relaxation was the better option.
