I honestly hate these “theories” because while it’s partially true I’m as left as it gets and I hate septum piercings. I’m not gonna shame anyone for getting one I just personally hate them and hate how prevalent they’ve become.
I don’t mind most piercings and have several tattoos myself but there’s like 4 types of piercings and tattoo placements that just put me off. Doesn’t mean I’m a fuckin pedophile.
Other than being left, this is the biggest difference between you and the people the theory is referring to. Everyone is allowed their preferences and unless you’re commenting on people with septum piercings there’s nothing wrong with not liking them.

I used to dislike them. I think that was just because they were unfamiliar. But, I’ve seen many people with them now, and I think sometimes they even look nice.
I like piercings better than tattoos. Except for the extreme ones, like gauges through cheeks, etc.

Yeah, I think most alternative aesthetic decisions tend to be signifiers of queerness to others. Subtle ways that we tell others that we’re accepting.

I have no meaningful opinion on them. However, now that I think about it the people I know who do have them tend to be attractive to me. That said, I don’t think it’s at all contingent upon the septum ring itself.
The definition does say they dislike women with septum piercings, not the piercings themselves. So you’re good. I don’t like piercings in general. I was forced as a child to get my ears pierced three times and I’m still resentful.
But others can stick whatever they like in their bodies.
