I see a lot of blaming Biden and Garland, but not much mention of SCOTUS which was instrumental for trump getting away.

Whether he was in real trouble they inserted themselves and saved him. They even invented absolute immunity when a case was so damning and straight forward that didn’t look like there was a possibility of him getting away.

I suspect the result would still be the same even if Biden and Garland did it exactly the way people accusing them due those political hacks (they don’t deserve to be called judges, they are anything but).

Sadly, right now even if progressives will massively win in 2026, 2028 and following elections they still will be similarly blocked on every step unless SCOTUS is unfucked which as I understand will have to be done by expanding the court.

          This is very true

          14th amendment Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

They just made up some bullshit that said you can’t keep him off the ballot.

Even though we saw him do this on TV

Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith who investigated and charged Trump with crimes but then the American public decided they collectively didn’t give a fuck what Trump has done and re-elected him as president.

Don’t try to shift blame here it was the voters and the non-voters who gave Trump a get out of jail free card.

It was the most complicated prosecution in US history and it would have gone somewhere if he wasn’t re-elected.

Four years is a heartbeat in cases less complicated than that one.

And what’s his view on the report that said Russia helped him win the election?

When you consider how many billions of dollars and thousands of man hours Americans invested into getting Donald Trump elected, it’s all very surreal to hear how Russia stole the election. It wasn’t Vladimir Putin trying to fuck with the recounts in Georgia or purging voter roles in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. As far as I’m aware, no Russians sit on the SCOTUS.

It’s not going to be Russians who are fucking with the 2026 election results, either.

Why hasn’t he arrested anyone for treason?

For the same reason Biden didn’t, presumably. For the same reason he didn’t “Lock Hillary Up!” in 2017.

And, to be… uh… fair? to Trump, he absolutely did try to prosecute James Comey and John Bolton and Letitia James. Not to mention… NYC Comptroller Brad Lander, Sen. Alex Padilla, Rep. LaMonica McIver, Judge Hannah Dugan, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and one of the staffers for Rep. Jerry Nadler.

Trump’s been all on board with Lawfare, particularly with respect to anyone who intercedes against his mass arrest of migrants.

Both trump and Russia can be guilty of trying to steal the election.

Trump just attempted to sue people who reported that he was trying to steal the election, that isn’t being lawful it’s the exact opposite.

He’s not a moron. I don’t know why people keep saying Trump is a moron, he’s one of the most successful grifters and con artists that ever lived. No moron could do that.

No, you see, Trump says moronic shit all the time but that doesn’t make him a moron, his brain-dead base that fucking believes it are the morons.

Trump keeps saying the most moronic shit and they continue to believe him. If you wanted to fleece as many people as possible and they believe everything you say, no matter how fucking stupid, you’ll continue to say stupid shit and keep that gift going.

He is a moron, and constantly demonstrates that by failing to achieve simple goals. He’s also a narcissistic psychopath with dementia.

His supporters are largely also morons and they think he’s really smart.

If he was as smart as he claims himself to be, his plans wouldn’t be as transparent and obvious, and he wouldn’t keep being struck down by even his own judicial appointees.

He doesn’t have to be cognizant of this strategy for it to work, though. A savvy grifter and a moron born to wealth with all the golden parachutes he could ever need are very difficult to distinguish between.

This is a contradiction to anyone with a brain. But, it’s not for MAGA. China will be used as a fear tactic for election interference. He doesn’t actually want to imply he’d do anything against China though. The target isn’t China. It’s voters. He never described “beech of historic proportions”, he just declassified evidence of a bunch of stuff we already knew like publicly available voter information, and the very typical online propaganda campaigns that didn’t change any votes that were cast.
