Jewish leaders in Michigan are circulating an open letter urging Jewish Democrats and independents in the battleground state to sign their names in support of former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) as he faces Abdul El-Sayed, the far-left Democratic nominee for Senate whose hostile positions on Israel have alarmed many Jewish voters.

The letter, which was obtained by Jewish Insider on Wednesday and has not yet been publicized, is led by Eric Bronstein, a Detroit businessman, among others identifying as Democrats and independents.

It came to light after a fundraiser for Rogers on Tuesday night hosted by three prominent Jewish Democratic bundlers in Michigan who are likewise alarmed by El-Sayed’s candidacy. The growing efforts among Jewish Democrats to rally support for Rogers in the key Senate race illustrate the degree to which El-Sayed has alienated a sizable and politically active swing voting bloc in what is expected to be a close election.

This shit is bananas because I never hear the left say anything anti-Semitic.

But, i just saw a Trump supporter who was mad about Flock blame Jews for Flock.

Soooooooo yeah. The call is coming from inside the house.

This will only make actual antisemitism (the kind you describe) worse. The authors of this letter are telling Jewish voters to abandon any principles they have regarding their own country - it doesn’t matter if you support abortion rights, believe in funding public education and social welfare, or just oppose the Trump / fascist agenda. None of that matters compared to supporting Israel. It’s the antisemitic “dual loyalty” trope come to life.

They basically flip the term around. IE criticizing a specific government, is anti-semetic. Blanket blaming an entire population of people for things they aren’t even directly associated with, is OK.

There was never any doubt, the moderates will try to sabotage progressives in the general election.

Their main purpose is not to beat republicans and keep them out of office, it’s to keep control of the party.

As always, the “moderates” are weaponizing jewish people to keep control. Fuck you Starmer by the way you fucking cunt.

You can drop “party”. They’re convincing people to vote for the worse candidate because that worse candidate is more likely to approve policies to support and subsidize a parasitic foreign nation.

They are absolutely traitors to the USA.

I think the people of Michigan REALLY need to not underestimate the power of influence Israel, racism, the new Red Scare and Islamophobia have in this race.

Countless old fucks and Zionist Dem voters, as well as simply racist Dems are gonna jump ship, or at least refuse to turn out.

Don’t get too comfortable in this race, nor others. Remember, even a close race that ends in victory is ripe for Trump and his goons to steal.

I’m proud to say that my son and I are doing our part. I will not relent in my continued condemnation of the apartheid state of Israel. We both voted in the primary, and almost all of my picks got through. I asked him a few days after the results were announced how he voted, stressing to him that he does NOT have to reveal that to anyone, even me, but that I was just curious. Without skipping a beat, he mentioned how our man destroyed Haley and the $30 million dollar infusion by a foreign state.

Don’t divide by party lines. Those times are over, and arguably have always been. Now it’s about neoliberals, fascists and leftists. The neoliberals pretend to care, but too often side with fascists.

Like… ok. So antisemitism is bad still. Right? A surprising number suddenly like fascism and genocide. Idk. Might want to have a clubhouse meeting about that. It doesn’t look great.
