Americans are complaining about fire smoke? Yeah, Canada has a bunch of wildfires like usual but Americans are blaming Canada for the smoke that’s coming from fires in their own fucking country. Why don’t you rake your own forests, assholes?

I was thinking the same thing on Tuesday night… hmmm, there hasn’t been smoke this year.

Wednesday morning… well shit, there it is.

Downside of Canadian wildfires: parts of my country are completely destroyed

Upside of Canadian wildfires: Americans are suffering

It kinda pisses me off maga is upset about it because I want to make jokes where I’m upset about it, but i just sound like a maga idiot if I do.

like obviously I know its not Canada’s fault, but its fun to make jokes about that…

It’s totally our fault. Our forest and wildfire management is shit.

Just one of the bullshit things we did:

Canada has a policy where lumber companies have to plant enough trees to replace, factoring in natural death, all the trees they log. However, some species of tree are worth more money than others. So they cut down diverse forests to plant one, maybe two species: pine and spruce.

Thing is, there are pine beetles and there are spruce beetles that kill the trees by burrowing holes through the bark. They suddenly had a whole lot more of their favorite trees so there were suddenly a whole lot more beetles. Big sections of forests died at once with the beetles then so overpopulated they spread to healthier, more diverse sections of the forest to kill the pine and spruce there, too.

You can guess what happens to a forest full of dead wood.

It’s just another pile of crap that they publish to keep people from talking about the Epstein files. Right now, Oregon and Ohio are invading Canada with vile American forest fire smoke. There’s a shit load of forest fires in the United States right now. I wonder where their forest management is now?

Kind of like how people need to realize that they shouldn’t have car accidents on the road since it backs up traffic for everybody else

Yeah! If you’re going to crash, swerve off the canyon and save us all the traffic jam/s

I know you feel really bad for what you’ve done (to us, your neighbors to the south), but don’t be too hard on yourselves, Canada. You’ll have the opportunity to make amends when we (the Americans) are forced to pay higher taxes on goods as decided by our very stable genius president.

Welp, better start cleaning the brush on over 369 million hectares. Some of which is thousands of kilometers away from the nearest road or city.

Might as well prevent forest fires by reversing climate change. Oh wait, trump has been ruining all that progress and pushing products that cause climate change.
