This means he can be replaced with another Democrat
Graham Platner can be replaced as the Democratic nominee for Senate in Maine if he withdraws from the race by next Monday, and state law would then give the state Democratic Party until July 27 to name a replacement.
None of that demonstrates guilt in any individual case. You can cite statistics all you want, but that doesn’t give you license to go out in public, spin around three times, point to a man and yell “he raped me!”
That’s not what this woman did and you’re spreading misinformation in order to discredit her.
It’s a bit hyperbolistic in order to show the gaping hole in your logic. It’s called a reductio ad absurdum, look it up.
You’re discrediting a victim to serve your own interests.
She’s not a victim.
What interest am I serving other than removing republicans’ senate majority?
What interests are you serving?
Victims.
If you cared about victims you would encourage them to go to the ER and get a forensics panel done alongside testing for transmissible diseases. If you were so concerned with getting justice for the victims that’s what you would do.
Clearly that’s not your goal here, and all you want to do is normalize being able to destroy men’s lives over mere allegations.
Rape is an evil and despicable thing to do. Accusing an innocent person of rape is also despicable. And there’s no cognitive dissonance in saying both of those things.
There’s evidence. The only person who “destroyed lives” (not being able to run for Senate is not a life destroyed, btw) is Platner himself.
How many lives will be destroyed when republicans hold onto their senate majority after Susan Collins wins?
The evidence is nowhere near conclusive, and if it was you would have linked to that instead of appealing to vague statistics
