Sony has suggested its next-gen console — widely assumed to be the PlayStation 6 — could work like the Nintendo Switch by enabling “a seamless experience that can be enjoyed naturally beyond the living room.”

I have no idea what this would mean in practice.

    The article brings it up too, but I suspect this actually means streaming games. I can see it sort of making sense where you already own a digital library and via some subscription, can stream those games to specific devices.

      Isn’t this what Xbox tried and failed to do a few years back? And Google Stadia?

      It doesn’t need to be subscription. The Playstation Portal can already stream your local machine and library beyond living room with a seemless experience. So maybe they plan on doing a Wii U inspired setup by default?
