Honestly it may very well be that they need a helipad cause Trump can’t walk on uneven terrain anymore. Either that or they need a stable flat surface in case they need to wheel him about. Remember that last physically disabled president comparable to Trump’s disability was FDR and he was president before helicopters were particularly reliable. Mind you I still think it’s stupid for eat shit and die reasons but it is a potentially valid point if it was anyone other than Trump.

While that may be traditional there’s also a solid chance Trumps presidency gets more or less scrubbed by successors be it following presidents or US successor states. Assuming the site isn’t just abandoned out of spite and left to rot.

Difference is that Rome was able to survive for another thousand years after the fall of the western half of the empire. I severely doubt the US will pull such BS, or if it does it’ll be some random ass rump state like Trebizond or Theodoro.

In the defense of the incompleteness it’s more a side effect of original plans being scrapped due to rock strengthen. Basically it was originally going to be grander but those plans were largely scrapped due to rock strength and the original crews just kinda getting sick of working on it.

My point is to entirely remove the president from such decisions. Don’t like who Congress chose? Tough shit. Note that ideally Congress will have been brought to heel by the electorate.

I’d also propose moving as many agencies away from the purview of the executive and moving them to the legislative. Namely the department of education, department of energy, department of justice, and department of interior with the addition of dissolving the head position in favor of a council with a staggered ten years appointment per seat and strict job requirements within relevant fields IE a park ranger of 20 years is viable for a DoI seat but some podcaster will just get shot.

Yeah valve wins regardless of who builds the machines, arguably they win more if someone else builds the machine but regardless they win.

Hell some of my ancestors have been here since before even James Town in one case but we hugged the borders of civilization through much of it so where do me and my kin fit in since records are scattered. For those curious my ancestors came over from western Ireland with a Jesuit expedition about 20 years before James Town.
Personally I’d argue that PC/ Console gaming and phone games are entirely different markets with largely different overall products. It’s like comparing someone who drives an 01 Toyota or a 91 Polski Fiat to someone who daily drives a cyber truck, like sure they’re all cars but the actual practical overlap in the products is basically being on four wheels.
Regardless Microsoft is fucking delusional if they can get a billion daily users for any game.
