Germany should instead use its power to make the EU align with the earlier timeline. And, aiming for the earlier timeline provides more business opportunities- see China.

The title isn’t quite correct. It is to safeguard electricity supply.

Nuclear power isn’t green energy; you may support that political-driven opinion, but if you inform yourself you will quickly find out that by all parameters (CO2 across the entire chain) it definitely isn’t green or CO2 neutral. it also won’t stop climate change, as Germany would need a dozen reactors, and executing such a project in Germany easily takes 20 years (Germany is famous for its bureaucracy), by far too late to rescue the world from disaster. on top of that, please read the party program of the AfD (which I have done); their approach to climate change is 19th century at best - I won’t go into details of their blatant racism and Voelkische right extremist ideas - large parts of this party leadership (Eg Höcke) want to introduce a Putin- or Hitler-like fascist state in Germany.

I’ve been in the chancellery several times and this will fit in well amongst the other paintings of the past chancellors. Looks good. She is depicted in a human way, the artistry is modern yet not over the top.

Yeah, but he’s been using that same line for six years now, twice is ok, but hearing the same joke about Bogart and Bacall six times in a row is totally fucked up.

On a different note, who the hell is this guy’s hairdresser? He must be literally rolling in money from all the royalties and cameo appearances in the Naked Gun, and still he looks like a sheep in the rain after eating a bowl of cold spaghetti bolognese. At least his billionaire chums Musk, Bezos, Gates and Zuckerberg have decent haircuts (top and around the private parts I may add).

Ah! An AI use case.
Let’s be fair: subscriptions are everywhere. Netflix, arthouse , MUBI, Deezer, Spotify. But also cars, bikes, the heat pump -anything that needs maintenance has a regular reoccurring maintenance fee, which can be seen as a subscription, to keep the thing running. Apps need updates (maintenance) too, to keep them running and secure. One reason for the criticism against subscriptions is that people lose sight of all the things that they are subscribed to, as an individual you need stringent subscription control.
