Not readily available in Australia, I associate it with Linus (not torvalds), they’re expensive, and god knows if Trump does weird export import stuff the moment it ships, and if it needs repair, nobody would be unsurprised if Trump made us pay to ship it back

Even if they did, I think no public contact or evidence of life is a fair reason to replace him

I think you just confused the MAGA politicians. You might end up on a watchlist

Hiking groups are full of this crap at the moment. Even for things that a basic spreadsheet would suffice
The worst one I saw was on hacker News yesterday which was a ai avalanche prediction site, which is an absolutely shit idea and will kill someone

That’s a matter of perspective. For people still voting for Trump, I guess I may be seen as Super smart.
For everyone else, probably average or below average

i can’t speak for that… Or against it (I use fedora anyway). But, I would agree that snap is letting Ubuntu down at the moment, as there is a lot of good in ubuntu too
From a user side though, that’s because the whole ubuntu/snap store thing is just clunky, even if we ignore who controls the store. Gnome Software and discover I find are more usable than Snap store. Cosmic will likely catch up too
And if you add snap support to the other package software, it becomes a mess
I will give them credit for trying these things though, and feel bad for them that Mir, bazaar and snap didn’t really succeed

I don’t really have an issue with snap personally. The real problem is that their store doesn’t integrate with Flatpack properly. So the whole thing just gets clunky

Let me give you a law enforcement lesson… The law doesn’t suddenly stop on major crimes. Like those pesky Tax fraud convictions.
Silence is NORMAL in investigations, and you see it with drug busts, pedo rings and other things all the time. You’ll have the typical people whinging that everything is being ignored, the police suck, etc. And then suddenly, you see huge arrests suddenly and charges laid. All the evidence is still there.
Jack smith couldn’t keep trump from becoming elected, and the judge was Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump. Aileen Cannon likely DELAYED the trial on purpose, to ensure it would happen too late. And, she seemingly took steps to limit access to that report. The FBI doesn’t have access to remove Aileen Cannon from the Supreme court. They can’t pick the supreme justice who takes the case (that is random apparently).
The report is ALREADY DONE. Jack smith can validate the report and if it has been sabotaged, and in all likelihood, it has been given to people he trusts within the FBI. And, you don’t want to give Trump time to take steps to act against the conviction whilst he’s elected (especially because he probably doesn’t have access to all the evidence FBI has). Releasing the evidence would give him 4 years to weaken the case, and give him the opportunity to pardon everyone involved. He likely doesn’t know the full extent of everyone involved
The moment Trump is out, don’t be surprised if this returns to court… If you check Jack Smith’s history, he has a lot of notable cases (including war crimes at the hague and various major corruption lawsuits). The FBI didn’t pick a rando to run this investigation.

Following DOJ protocol is NOT the same as doing nothing.
Just like Trump doing illegal actions which gets thrown out isn’t being productive.
He didn’t clear Trump of any wrongdoing (despite Trump’s claims). I’m guessing the policy has more to do with the fact that a sitting president could mostly shut down the case via various means, and, it makes US vulnerable.
There is NOTHING stopping Trump being impeached from office and THEN formally brought with criminal charges against the court, which is the better path. And, the moment Trump loses presidency, he is fucked. He cannot pardon himself for his tax crimes.

Some people deserve attention. Some people get more attention than they deserve.
I’d rather be listening to Jack Smith than the guy who said they were investigating injecting disinfectant to cure covid

Yeah. But unlike the steam machine, completely locked down and possibly sold at initially no profit which is recouped in games.

Completely missing the point… Given that Artists work was basically used to train AI, a lot of them in particular would be hesitant to pay for something which possibly uses some of their work they didn’t get paid for.
Also, when I as a consumer see AI has been used, it is closer to suggesting they took shortcuts to make the game

Stremio. And everything can be 4k hdr10
It’s available. But, still ships from overseas last I checked.
US company though apparently, but didn’t realise they ship from Taiwan.
One thing that is interesting, is you can get a riscv board and an arm board. Would be good if they have an elite Broadcom board though
