You are! But toddlers stare at everything bc everything is new to them and they are just beginning the “making categories” stage

Adding a note: drag queen culture has been especially helpful in this regard, also improving style options for previously overlooked legions of women with large feet. Yet another reason to say, “thank you, drag queens!”
And yet the small feet = feminine beauty equation still festers away in the back of our social subconscious. If only Prince Charming had said, “I’m going to go out and look for a girl who has the same size feet I do, so we can share shoes and rule the kingdom together!”

You can try it out if you’re curious. These days you can find platforms and stilettos in your size pretty easily. I don’t recommend asking a friend if you can try on hers, because that’s a can of worms in a minefield.

I’ve never understood that, it’s so weird. People say it’s because he wears lifts and I don’t doubt he does, and women wearing heels do stick out their butt but they also arch their back to keep their balance. Which lifts the boobs, another plus, but it’s mostly for balance. (Source: am woman, have tested the different effects of 4" heels and 4" platforms with a 2" rise toe-to-heel)
Maybe he’s trained himself to “not stand like a girl in heels” and thinks he’s getting away with it? Or maybe his back is unable to arch? The belly weight is the opposite of a counterbalance so that’s not it. Could his cankles be incredibly strong shin muscles? No, Michael Jackson had skinny ankles.
It’s a mystery, Scoob!
Edit, new theory: Diaper as counterweight

Generally speaking, “elusive” is the correct word here. But this one time, I vote for “illusive,” because they only want to create the illusion that an investigation exists.

They’re a flock, let’s see them fly away!
En masse is one of the millions of useful expressions stolen by English from other languages. (We call it “borrowed” or “loanwords,” but we’re not going to give them back!)
It doesn’t literally mean “in mass,” which would refer to measuring weight or volume, or could mean being in a Catholic church during a service.
If you wanted to use a different expression to denote the whole of the working population acting in unison you could, but “en masse” carries some appropriate French revolutionary connotations and avoids the communist implications of “the masses,” which could hamper recruiting.
The problem might be the photographer. Hand that fancy camera to a friend. The results may still show your ug, but they’ll look more natural.
I’m torn about upvoting this because KKK yesyesyes but not Spidey!
Imagine being a toddler. Everything is new to you, including every person who’s not your family. Of course you stare, to take in as much information as possible. You’re not ready to judge, but you’re creating categories to help sort all that information. And you’re ripe to be influenced.
This is why it’s worth engaging with the toddler if possible. Your short conversation in this teachable moment can be the foundation of countless improved interactions that person has, with disabled people, and in talking with others about people with disabilities, and other differences, during their lifetime. They could even grow up to be a person who creates laws that affect you and your friends.
