Where’s the “future is cloud gaming” crowd?
I dont think they ever existed tbh.
There are plenty of people saying that cloud gaming is the solution to the GPU and RAM price hikes, like it wasn’t obvious that the increased prices also affected the cloud providers and, more importantly for their management, gave them the perfect moment to enshittify their services.
Edit: two examples from my browser history:
I wanted to like cloud gaming, at least while I’m out of the house. The mobile data offered around my area is very poor for anything more demanding than a turn based game.
