I had to search to find some context, here: https://www.thepoke.com/2026/09/01/pete-hegseth-tried-to-fat-shame-these-two-canadian-military-cadets-and-was-gloriously-owned-into-next-year-and-beyond/
Thanks! Funny because the obesity rate in the US is like 50% higher than in Canada.
I was curious and the actual answer is 11%, US 40.3% and Canada 29.5% assuming the sources are to be believed.
Sources were cdc.gov and Canada.ca - sorry, wasn’t sure what the Canadian equivalent was
That is the correct site to use as a comparison
Lmao the clip of him doing crossovers that’s goofy ass footwork if I’ve ever seen any 😂
https://dailydot.com/pete-hegseth-mocked-over-pull-up
Did he really only do that one pull-up or has the video been cut?
Because seriously, I could do a couple of clean pull-ups at over 130 kilos (I’ve weighed in at 1200 quarter pounders at some points in my life). At 100 KG I could easily do like 20 clean pull-ups. That be 220 freedom units. No legs flailing, no starting with my legs on the ground, etc. I do not consider myself the prime example of fitness, I’m a fat fuck with, luckily, a lot of muscle mass hiding under said fat.
Idk. It doesn’t look like what a capable person would do even after a few clean ones though…
Long-term heavy alcohol abuse can do wonky things to your nervous system… or he’s just incompetent (or both)
