I tried a Kong toy with my dog & he was not impressed. “WTF is this nonsense? Just give me the treats!” To be fair, he wasn’t into sticks either.
My parents had a large Catahoula mix who figured out how to step on the Kong toy and squish the treats out…

Not saying your dog is broken or useless, but rather their personality isn’t aligned for hunting, sticks or kong toys. And there’s nothing wrong with that!
