Absolutely insane that people live like this

This would be fine if that’s their reaction. But you know those people are constantly complaining to everyone about how their child doesn’t talk to them, trying to contact their kid, or, if they’re cut off, guilt tripping mutual family into contacting their kid. It’s part of the reason they get cut off in the first place.
