Even in those circumstances, I wouldn’t say that. The very concept of “not caring” about politics is so cringe that I wouldn’t be caught dead endorsing it.
I wish our politics were good enough that I didn’t have to care about it.
That may be part of the reason they don’t want to talk politics.
Then viewing those people poorly was justified all along.
