Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed 2. I spent all day doing extra stuff. Namely (and this is actually what brought me to the synchronization point in the above picture) the feathers. I always here everyone talking about how bad they were, and i felt as my first brush with AC2, I’d go ahead and try and get them all.
I did it, it only took me like all day. Part of it was because i didn’t realize i had to do a race for one, but the other was because i had to do Sequence 10 to get to the last few feathers. After that whole miserable ordeal though, i got to the end and got the cape that i will never use.

I gotta say though, i did find the cutscene between Ezio and his mother touching. It’s too bad she doesn’t get many roles in this game. I’d love to see her more involved.

I also did the tombs for Altair’s armor. This is where i accidentally discovered the mod i was using for a free cam actually has a no clip built in too. I won’t be using it but i nearly laughed my ass off as Ezio took too the sky flapping his arms like a bird, albeit a little frustrated too until i realized it’s a glitch.

The glider mission was fun, though somehow i managed to get it stuck and had to wait for Archers too shoot it down to start over. After that though, with the second go it was a lot more fun.

Anyways, after all the feathers and the missions and Altairs armor, i just kind of messed around in the world waiting to get money from the Villa. I want to try and do most of the reasonable 100%, so basically everything except the damn chests. So i just kind of messed around and was working on buying all the art and weapons. I’ve got all the art and i’m a few weapons short. After that though it’s just the armor.
I hear the PC versions include the DLCs that rip you out of the story, so when i return too it i’ll get to do those. I haven’t heard they’re bad, just some tonal whiplash, but i also haven’t heard they’re good either, so i’ll have to see.
Will be interesting to hear about the DLCs, I actually can’t remember playing them. I wonder if a long-repressed memory will emerge or I actually never ended up playing them back in the day.
They were basically just some extra filler (in my opinion) that consists of:
Spoiler
The apple of Eden gets stolen by a third party. He uses it to control people and destroy some art. Ezio kills him. Gets it back. Then goes and kills the Pope
Honestly I think it would have been better placed after the story and just taking the templars out of it. But gameplay wasn’t so bad, except the last part where you have to assassinate 9 targets. Gave me flashbacks to AC Shadows right there
Hum, not sure that rings a bell. It’s possible I played it before the DLCs were out, then. Sounds like maybe that was for the best!
