    I planted a raspberry bush a few years ago on a strip of unused leftover nothing land in the neighborhood. Neighborhood kids loved the bush and ate the berries. Birds loved it and ate the berries. Some old hag hated it (“looks untidy!!!”) and sneakily had the bush removed (it’s not her land either) although she knew damn well who had planted it and that kids and birds loved it.

      Nature isn’t clean or tidy you shouldn’t be bringing that mess into the community. Only pavement and paid fruits are to be available for play and snacking.
