    So let me get those straight. Trump enacts tariffs, companies increase prices to offset tariffs so the cost passes to consumers.

    Then the tariffs are declared illegal and some companies decide to wait for the refunds while others sell their refund rights to other companies or people. Some people that are related to Trump admin officials.

    Companies that kept their refund rights come out ahead as they passed the costs to the consumers and then got refunded anyways. Companies that sold their rights made a quick buck for selling those rights. People that bought the refund rights made a buck from cashing in the refunds. American consumers were left holding the bag as the suckers they are.

      You missed the part where consumers made due without for a while, and you missed the part where prices never dropped back down to pre-tariff prices.

      You also forgot about consumer purchasing power (income) was outpaced by rising costs, and that retirees also got shafted.
