Keeping tabs on what the CDC hasn’t been testing for may now be the most efficient way to determine what diseases are circulating.

That’s not how any of this works…

We studied the shit that was likely to have an outbreak

Republicans cancelled all the studies for anything that wasn’t an active outbreak.

With no one keeping an eye on anything, outbreaks are happening, and we don’t have early warning signs before an outbreak.

Like, the CDC doesn’t waste a lot of time studying things that are extinct, and everything not extinct is “circulating”, just hasn’t had an outbreak on.

It’s like you believe the Republicans bullshit that these studies aren’t needed

I don’t want to speak for the person you replied to but I just want to point out that this was probably a joke, with the implication being that the CDC is currently ineffective due to current administration policies, and aligning with your viewpoint.

This is unrelated to the topic, but I must ask.

Why do you separate your sentences with line breaks?

        It’s incredibly awkward and unnecessary.

        Thanks.
