Trump has praised former President Barack Obama (pictured) for his prowess at walking down stairs (AFP/Getty)
The president even paid a rare compliment to one of his rivals while discussing stairs in Quantico, Virginia, last year.
“Don’t bop down the stairs,” Trump cautioned. “The one thing with Obama, I had zero respect for him as president. But he would bop down those stairs I’ve never seen.”
Singing gently and miming a walking motion, Trump continued: “Da-da, da-da, da-da, bop, bop, bop.”
“He’d go down the stairs, wouldn’t hold on, I said it’s great,” he added. “I don’t want to do it; I guess I could do it.”
