Here’s the thing, when a Democrat inevitably wins, we will suddenly no longer accept this behavior. It’ll happen twice as fast if it’s a woman or person of color.
So true. I remember when Biden made a speech in which he called out authoritarianism, and lots and lots of pearls were clutched about how it was his speech that had the authoritarian overtones. Much of it was from the unhinged right of course, but also reactionary centrists.

The moral of the story is to stop assuming centrists are telling us the truth, and to focus on winning leftist votes instead.
