Former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who is also the current Democratic Senate candidate for Ohio, found himself in hot water in a past campaign over his response to anti-trans attacks from Republicans, and now he appears to be taking a different approach.
Instead of trying to defend or explain his views on trans rights, Brown released an ad last week slamming Republicans for focusing on trans people at all, when there are so many bigger challenges facing the state.
I hate Lemmy right now so much. The shills are out in full force. Half these accounts are a month old.
Eh, it’s an .ml, you can’t expect much
I’m not sure which one you mean, but the guy you’re replying to (the one defending Biden) has a 3 months old account, the other a 1y old one. Usually people here claim it’s the other way around, and any criticism of Dems is always shutdown because it’s never “the right time”.
I said half. Meaning this is a trend I’m seeing. I did not say it applied in every case.
There was no need to get so need to get so defensive, but it seems I struck a cord. You decided to make that comment in a situation that was completely flipped relative to what you are saying. So I doubt you checked it this time. So is that really a trend, or are you perhaps just bias and also sucking off the Dems because it’s never the time to hold them accountable?
Unfortunately for you I tagged you as someone who does this same shit long ago so I don’t have to wonder if this is a one off
I’m an anarcho-communist, if you think I’m pro Trump you might be illerate - or just extremely incampable of perceiving different experiences and points of view. My account is also older than your’s, so I wonder how that fits your theory.
Yes I’m familiar with these theatrics. You aren’t unique
Yes, great argument, you are clearly a very logical person and I am defeated. I’m a vegan environmental activist and LGBT ally who supports Trump, you got me.
Like there’s an argument you would acknowledge
