    No, you’re good, I’ve been saying the same thing (to the disdain of many) throughout this thread.

    It’s just the mathematics of how the US Constitution is set up; you generally can’t have a viable third party. The US is going too far right, and to go further left you have to vote for the leftmost party. Anyone who made it through grade-school should understand the sad truth of the matter, but we have plenty of people who either didn’t or are pretending they didn’t to help the fascists win.

    As we opened our eyes to in 2016, there’s tons of foreign interest in influencing US elections. Russia in particular has a vested interest in helping Trump’n’Co.; he’s the first president (and as a result, party) in a long time that has openly embraced Putin and Russia’s oligarchs in general.

    I’m sure some of the people encouraging voter apathy in this very thread aren’t foreign election meddlers and are just naive, but there’s no way to tell who’s who.
