Yes, this is the reality of the US system. It’s shit.

However, don’t use this to discredit democrats. Clinton and Obama were leaps ahead of Bush and Pedolf Diddler. Imagine if Al Gore had been the president. He would have been in this picture too.

This is as stupid as going against Kamala because she “didn’t support Palestine” or whatever bullshit that was.

Personally, I’m against Kamala because she’s a disingenuous liberal hack. I still voted for her, but while holding my nose, same as Hillary before her.

Not to disagree too much with you here, but I think the US would have been pretty well off with Hillary and Kamala. Not as good as with Bernie, but something similar to Obama and Biden. No great improvements, but also no disastrous wars or scandals either. Corporate democrats deserve recognition as not-great-not-terrible, and in our time that’s already pretty decent.

I don’t think the point this meme makes is that they are all equally bad. The point is that they all work for the same cause. Because they are. Clinton and Obama did nothing to fix the system. They were part of controlled opposition.

Clinton and Obama did nothing to fix the system.

Clinton did a lot to balance the US budget, that W. then blew apart once again. Obama put all his weight on Obamacare, but I don’t know how successful that is in practice.

There will never be a US president who will “fix the system”. It’s broken beyond repair. But there’s hope that one day there might be a president who supports minorities, doesn’t start wars, builds international relations and doesn’t rape children.

Edit: it’s also worth pointing out that in any political system resembling democracy, the politicians will work for their donors.

Again, no one is saying everything they did was bad. What I’m saying is that they protected the 1% same as everyone else. Clinton famously repealed the Glass–Steagall Act, Obamacare was a compromise that protected private health insurance companies. It’s absolutely possible to elect someone who’s not controlled by corporations and billionaires but people in this picture and not examples of that.

Fair enough, as long as it’s not an excuse for all-or-nothing thinking. Any American with half a brain should always vote for the democrat candidate, the republicans are always worse.

Talking about half brains… You know the Jubilee thing where they make one person debate 20 people? I don’t follow this but there’s this new one with a young Dem debating 20 boomers. I tried watching and had to stop after bout 5 minutes. The stupidity of boomers was unbearable. “Guns are a god given right” and such. And they are the biggest voting generation right now… US is fucked.

How these people are even able to function in a society is a total mystery to me.

Back in the Dubya days we’d protest as “Billionaires for Bush”. We’d dress up in fancy clothes and show up to protests in a limousine to “thank the little people” for supporting us.

Many lefties are far too serious and didn’t catch on to the satire.

Which is doubly weird in my opinion considering his wife isn’t. It’s a very confusing omission since obviously that’s like a front and center obvious missing, but if it’s a MAGA hit piece they shouldn’t have included Melania.
