I mean… I’m not in the US but I always thought that you guys have a right wing and a far right wing party. I don’t see any leftist party… so it makes sense that they would be more aligned with fascism than socialism in terms of ideology.

Parties don’t control the politicians inside them the same way they might be able to in some other countries. So it’s one fascist party and one big tent everything from left to right party
