As other replies to you have touched on, I believe you’ve misread/misunderstood that, although I understand why. It definitely could’ve been worded more clearly.

What it means is more along the lines of:

This seemingly was a mistake. Linux’s second-in-command Greg Kroah-Hartman responded to each report asking about their submission to the public mailing list.

He’s not the one that submitted them. He’s the one that replied to them asking “wtf!?”

I always really enjoy these posts of yours! I just suck at socializing and communicating due to disabilities and health issues, so I usually just silently upvote and lurk, heh. But I wanted to let you know, and say thank you! Also, I’m so very glad you found your DS again! :D

Poverty and desperation for money, maybe? To pay rent/utilities/for food/needed medical care, etc. Who knows for sure, but that was the first thing to pop into my head. My broke, disabled ass may just be projecting, haha.

It’s really not. I’ve even taken an Uber/Lyft to the ER in an emergency before - with money I had beg friends for + a coupon. Then the absurdly high ER bills went to collections, because we didn’t have the Medicaid expansion here and I’m disabled and couldn’t pay them since I can’t work, and now I have debt collectors hounding me all the time.

When I was a kid and my dad was real sick, my parents got sued for unpaid medical bills we couldn’t afford when my dad nearly died and had to be revived and intubated and shit. They garnished my dad’s already piddly wages (mom’s disabled, or they would have garnished hers, too) and they had to declare bankruptcy.

This country is such a mess.

Just toss me in the tiny, unused-except-for-groceries bed of your bigass emotional support brodozer truck, that way you can just hose it down later.

Wow. As someone who is unfortunately stuck in the festering Trump-humping suckfest that is Oklahoma, it’s nice to see a very rare reasonable thing to come out of here. It also figures that it was one of our cops being so blatantly and overwhelmingly shitty to someone they saw because they had an out of state tag that caused this ruling. They like to do that. 🙄

(To be clear: I’m not implying cops elsewhere aren’t also garbage; I know they are! I’ve just obviously had more personal experiences with the ones here.)

Perhaps she owns a shitload of stock in the RAM and AI companies, is making mega bank off of this shituation, and is delighted to be reminded of it? Or maybe she’s just super high. Who knows!
