The older the UI looks the more likely it’s going to be actually in control of your computer.
It tends to be more functional too

When console games went to €70 all PC games miraculously remained at €60—
Oh, wait, no. That didn’t happen.
And sure, that’s not most games. There are a lot of indies which are far more reasonably priced. Either way, the €60 price ceiling previously in place has moved up, making it easier for AA and indie games to move up in price as well.
“Just don’t buy those games!” Sure, whatever man. All I’m saying is that there is some influence between the two.
