Rep. Tom Kean was missing for four months without much explanation and there have been no consequences.
Even Speaker Mike Johnson suggested Kean should have said more sooner at a news conference Tuesday: “If it were me, I would have been more specific about that, and I encouraged him to be.”
Dude won his primary unopposed while he still missing.

The Supreme Court already said these exact Trump comments weren’t racist in the TPS case and that was 6-3. And they seem OK with Trump hating immigrants.
But no, Alito said. There’s a perfectly nonracial explanation for all of the dog whistles. “None of the cited statements by either the President or the Secretary was overtly racial, and in substance all expressed policy views that could rest on race-neutral justifications.” In other words, the Trump administration hates all types of immigration and wanted to roll back the TPS system as a whole; therefore, it couldn’t have acted racially in its decision. On top of that, the court said that it’s pretty much just a coincidence that the majority of TPS countries are predominantly nonwhite. That’s not the administration’s fault; it’s because “the great majority of countries granted TPS have ranked among the poorest nations of the world, and no European nation falls into that category.” The stability (and therefore superiority) of European nations is evidence to be used against any argument that the Trump administration was unfairly motivated by illegal racial animus.
Microsoft is not going to remove .NET to attract software developers when they want developers to use .NET. Not having access to software that uses .NET probably wouldn’t be a good trade off for how little removing it from Windows would do to make Windows lighter.

They also just announced that the PS3 and Vita Playstation Stores will be shutting down, starting next month in certain regions and everywhere by July 2027. At some point in the future it will be impossible to buy games for your old PS6 because it doesn’t support discs and the Playstation Store doesn’t support the system.
Good. They should have added an ad-supported tier people could opt in to, like everybody else did, instead of changing the existing tier to be ad-supported and requiring people to pay extra to opt out.
Need to un-MAGA the Supreme Court first or they’ll rule in favor of any suit challenging that law.
