ICE just parked around the corner waiting for anyone that fits their “parameters” to try and vote, no doubt.

Don’t forget the big middle finger this gives to doctors, who most likely have too much paperwork to do now.

Ngl. Was hoping for a much higher number.
Still better then I lower one I suppose
- reluctant_squidd@lemmy.catoSelfhosted@lemmy.world•Any self hosted robotic lawn mowers?English41·3 days ago
I self host and run a considerable amount of open source software, locally and through a remote VPS.
Knowing how much I tinker and mess with configs and settings until breaking things usually, this would not be a good idea for me.
I guess there’s some solace or hope to be found in the fact that all the previous predictions weren’t accurate?

They really don’t gaf about PR anymore apparently.
So is this because they think AI is going to replace them all? Or maybe to try and recoup some of the millions poured into AI that they can’t seem to make profitable?
Both?

It’s like they are trying to fix a train heading for a derailment, by speeding up.

Why stop there? Just ban it entirely.
It’s not like it is actually helping society much.

I read somewhere recently that in the Uk, the rich managed to get private jets classified as “Green Investments”. So now we can all just relax about that I guess.

I get the “eat the rich” sentiment, but they could have given none I suppose.
Of course, 9/10 chance this is mostly for tax breaks and PR.

How does the US ever recover from this clown show?
Whatever credibility, honour, dependability, integrity, or decency it had, has been systematically thrown out the window and steamrolled Worldwide.
No matter who comes next, the whole thing is irreparably tarnished now.

Based on my experiences running multiple servers and pcs on multiple distros for more than a decade, almost all problems originate between the keyboard and the chair attached to the machine running Linux.
Misconfiguration is usually the culprit.
Oh and important note: I run Arch BTW

To me this title reads more like a capitalistic celebration of potential labor from an otherwise un-exploitable workforce, instead of a celebration of a major breakthrough in giving some semblance of dignity and autonomy to a person who was robbed of it by this terrible affliction.
Even after all the money he continues to grift the US government and people out of, somehow I still think he might be broke.
He did manage to bankrupt successful casinos, so I don’t think it’s really that far fetched.
Maybe he can’t afford it?
