Restructuring might have been the better move imo.
Not laying them off, but reorganizing the teams into multiple smaller studios and telling them to use the Id engine to work on new stuff. More chances of failures, but less risk and more new IPs.

Seriously, even though I feel bad for the devs. The injustice to Mic was bad. Out of touch executives, man.
But he’s doing good. His new game defect looks fucking awesome.

You should make one. It could be fun to make.
Since how you define something as being one political leaning over another is subjective (mostly), You could allow community to label the outlets and let it reflect current views and use feddy protocol, so you can have multiple aggregators that have different labels.

I could see an alternative where the community curates and assigns the political learnings.
But yeah, otherwise it is just a service.
I mean those things are valid. But I see this decision as one of those “the one that got away”. There’s a billion people there, someone was in the right place at the right time.
