I bought the 0.5tb + controller bundle. I was also sad about the pricing. But o boy, I love this machine. It is tiny! Dead silence and still a nice upgrade compared to my old desktop.

It får exceeds what I was hoping to use it for. The only thing I do not like is steam os desktop mode. My plan was to use it as a desktop pc more than a console, and I miss using gnome DE and having rolling releases.

O am thinking of doing the opposite. I received my steam machine last week and feel it is just a bit to limited. I have been dailying endeavourOS får many years by now and miss the air and yay. I know I can install it on the steamOD, but messing with the immutable nature of it feels wrong.

My biggest Gripe with steamOS out of the box is KDE 6.4. I miss Gnome
