I believe that’s what they’re saying, that if released software has any bugs that users encounter, and the developers want to know about them to fix them, they’re “outsourcing QA” to the users.
So yeah, good luck creating software and updates with literally no issues :P
On the other hand, the point of ranking and matchmaking is to match you with players of similar skill. When working optimally, you’ll end up with the appropriate ranking, play with players of the same skill, and (in 1v1/1 team vs 1 team games) win 50% of the time.
Some people whine a lot about the idea of losing 50% of the games you play, but if you actually enjoy the game and ignore the rank you have, it’s a great deal.

Heck, there’s at least one opensource generic steam emulator that you just drop into the game files. I used it before when messing around with modding a multiplayer game, to run multiple copies at once.
The short version is - if you’ve ever heard of infrared cameras that can see heat, that’s because everything glows based on heat. When things are very hot the glow is visible, but even cool things emit light outside of the visible spectrum. And emitting light takes energy, which means blackbody radiation (as this is called) takes energy (heat) away.
I’m pretty sure that’s a 4chan greentext, and I think it was even “Are you fucking sorry!?”. I also believe it was kicking a goalie in the face in a more outlandish scenario, followed by yelling that.
What the hell do you mean, USB drivers need to be downloaded? Isn’t that standardized and included with the system?
