It goes beyond that. In my country the reactionary politics are Islamists. They too, while giving “boycott Israel” speeches and sometimes throwing weird conspiracy stuff, their own companies enjoy trade with Israel. Some where documented by journalists fo selling steel and even jet fuel!

I would like to use my watch for payments more, but a lot of PoS devices here still work only with card NFC, not GooglePay etc. NFC.

It’s still amusing to me (in a sad way) that the biggest antisemitic haters and conspiracy theorists are also the biggest supporters of Zionists. There are just two dots to connect here.

Not really. Windows can shoot people’s dogs and people would still use it, look for “disable targeting feature debloat” or something.
I’m surprised Google took 20 years to completely enshittify Android.

The number of “steam machine killers” that immediately popped up with the release shows how good it is actually.
Of course a PC enthusiast can get more performance per buck but that’s not their demographic. For the price you get the computing power in an unusually compact form factor with a lot of effort put into an silent and efficient cooling system.
It’s a unique consumer device with a reasonable prebuilt markup.
But at least you’d be ruining only your own.

Or Chinese makers also sell at market rates and rake profits.
John Apple is just asking for cheap stuff without effort. Maybe he works hard he can earn and buy a lot of RAM too.
Playstation is a walled garden. Steam is nothing like that, like, at all.

Probably mad about GabeCube price.
Because most users are too lazy to use a few brain cells and assume doing something means being on the news.
I agree with you that this doesn’t mean they are ethical or pro-consumer. But they do keep the consumers satisfied enough.

This meme is my pet peeve, it annoys me so much. It cannot be further from the truth.
Valve doesn’t do nothing. They intentionally operate their platform in ways that keep customers satisfied, while making long term investments into hardware and OS development. That’s not “nothing”. That’s doing a lot of things right.
The point is cruelty and violence.
