it’s experimental, it’s not supposed to be an actual terminal to be used (at least i don’t think anyone would), the potential is future implementation of 3d rendering inside the terminal. it’s a similar scenario to when kitty started to introduce images inside the terminal. is it necessary? no. but it’s fun.
bro, vlc is still the same player visually from 10 years ago, you touched some configs. yes, it’s so good you can also do crazy shit with it if you want to. the always on top feature is completely unrelated to vlc, that’s handled by the de you’re using.
