I came across u/impractical_island a while back on the Just Post community here on Lemmy, and I was kind of fascinated by the delusional rambling. At first, I thought it was low-effort trolling, but I investigated their post history a little further, and it became clear that it’s untreated/undertreated mental illness (specifically schizoaffective disorder, per their comment history). There’s actually a little bit of lore you can string together out of the nonsense. I check in on their profile every once in a while to see what’s new in the “monadic nodal communication system.” I hope they get the help they need, they claim they’re on medication, but it seems to be ineffective as the delusional shit-posting continues. I read this comment and immediately clocked it as the same person.
