Thanks for the kind words. Yeah fitgirl is not good for AC1 and all three AC2 games. Though good for AC4 and onwards.

Don’t like ubisoft currently and all their projects are shit. don’t want to pay them a single cent. Me paying for few decades old game will just result in them churning out no useful story assassin’s creed that i dont care about.

I’ve been meaning to ask, are you playing these from steam or from high seas? I’m looking for a reputable high seas source, but struggling.

I have talked to a mobile game Dev, a very drunker heart to heart. He had an India mobile game (like alto). He made about 120k in 5 years between two versions of the game. And then some tenent adjacent studio offered him 650k for the IP.
In his words “All I could think was that in 650k, my house would be paid. My education loan would be paid and I would still have enough money to ensure my kid goes to college and not worry about an education loan. I knew selling game would mean enshittification of my baby. But then i looked at my actual baby and I knew I had to betray the digital one”
That’s the first time I saw it from the dev point of view. He wanted to keep the project, but between choosing fans of his games that can’t keep a subreddit alive and doing right by no name, no face fan base vs 650k hard cash from a shitty studio that would concretely secure his family’s future. I am not sure if I would hold out.
I know it’s not the same with the studio Microsoft bought… But I can’t help but wonder people who sellout might not be such horrible pieces of shit that we imagine them to be.

Ethical would be for them to look at all their Capex. Opex and charge a healthy 20% profit on top. And if they can’t survive. Fold shop and do something else. A/B testing randomised or not, simply sees customers to be squeezed.

I know what NEET exams are, I have spent some time in India. I know the importance of it as well and pressure students feel. I went back to my home country before completing high school. But My brother stayed behind and gave AIEEE in 2011, papers were leaked that year as well.
I think you guys have a marketing problem. Highlighting too much on paper leaks, while From what I gather from other comments, problem is the system, not one leak or even leaks in general. Because papers leak all the time in all countries, including my home country.
Criminals who do it should be caught and punished, and I haven’t seen any claims or evidence that education minister was complicit.
Anyway congratulations on having an incompetent minister out, but if your demand on reform of system is not made clear. There will be no meaningful change, just hydra changing heads. That’s why I’m saying it’s a marketing problem.
I have had this exact meme happens to me just yesterday.
Sexy time no, movie no. She went to bed and i turned on pc and she was looking at me exactly like this.
In her defense, she was looking at me like that because I wouldn’t have good sleep if I play more than 30-40 mins, and she would be worried I wouldn’t log off in time and won’t be able to sleep herself till I log off.

Ok so the problem is not leaked papers right? Problem is bad education system? Is that the demand to improve education system from the ousted minister. I had left India back to my home country in 2011, but my brother was still my parents in India. And he gave AIEEE and paper was leaked that year, I don’t remember it being such a huge problem. I understand the fucked up education system, not the leaking paper outrage.

Yes, because I’m not familiar with intricacies of Indian political systems. I have spent some time in India, I understand some but not all.
It maybe obvious to you. If you live in India. It’s not obvious to me. I’m happy to learn more. But if you don’t want to/ or are not able to explain, how would I sympathize with you?
I want to sympathize with the common man.

Ok so from what I read, papers were leaked. Whoever leaked it is a criminal. I’m not reading if government colluded or anything.
No doubts about centralised admission system is unfair and blaming government for that. But again if paper is leaked, it’s criminals committing crime, govt is supposed to catch them. So what is the complaint government is not doing enough to catch the criminals?
And even if govt is not doing enough to catch the criminals, why ask education minister to resign? Shouldn’t it be whichever ministry is responsible for handling police?

I learned C++ first, have been using python for the last decade almost daily for various one off tasks. I like python, but if I had to build something that will be used even hundred of thousand times, I wouldn’t do it in python.
Anyway point being, despite me using for decades, I still yearn for C++.

I’m gonna choose to assume original comment talked about a nedict Cumberbatch
I have three degrees, none of them have focused at all on programming. I had one c++ programming class in uni.
In my experience, most of the IT stuff is easy-ish, if you start trying. Most people have some psychological barrier with anything looking like code. I’ll give you two examples.
My wife would refuse to fix small issues in our home lab, but once I explained, everything we have is backed up twice. And wiped homelab to assure her that we can’t fuck up by accidental edit, we’d have a way to restore it she started trying, and she is decent at it. She even started our paperless container on her own. I had to help a bit in configuring it, but a bit. Soon she maybe able to manage everything. On the other hand.
At work I have this junior, I’m training. First I had a json file, he got scared editing and would bug me everytime. Then I made a simple text file, variable_name space value. He was scared of that too. I finally made a csv that he would open in excel, then he felt comfortable. He refuses to even try 2 years in, because our job in not really technical and I’m not his boss.
TLDR: start trying with simple things, backup everything, you may fail a bit, but it’s not that hard to get started with basics.
