Also having the installers means that if you can install the game files, set whatever environment variables the game needs, create the necessary folders, install the redistributable runtimes the game needs to run,and link the dlls properly. If you only have the game files you have to manage all of that yourself

Gog sells native Linux Games, and the heroic games launcher is part of their partner program. Gog games run perfectly fine with wine/Proton and are the preferred way to play games on winlator.

The gog galaxy client might not be on Linux but that doesn’t even matter since heroic does everything galaxy does but better

I love Foss projects and I try to be as positive as I can be. There are several programs that while having a learning curve are actually usable, but gimp is so user hostile its insane.

How in the ever living fuck does it not have a god damn circle tool. Why the fuck can’t I rotate selections in real time, I need to precalculate the angle and pray it’s correct.
