I use firefox at work for everything except for our ansible platform which only allows SSO on Edge for some reason

If you have the extra bandwidth and CPU sure (it’s really a negligible difference)

Honestly though the ad companies probably have metrics that teach them to start ignoring you if you click on everything, so it’s probably not that impactful. Doesn’t hurt though 🤷‍♀️
