I spent some time this week working on a script remediation to remove OneDrive photos from my orgs devices. I went to test it, and it reported a success without the need for remediation. I checked around, and it looks like Microsoft has started removing it from our devices. Not a sniff of any acknowledgement from them, though.

I think its intended to line up with the iOS and iPadOS naming scheme. They pooped out an update earlier this year to bring all three OS’s up to the same version number as well.
