Yes! GOG is absolutely excellent! For what it’s worth, Steam Support from Valve can absolutely issue refunds past the two weeks window, and I’ve done it for me in the past if the request was justified. The inside two weeks window that everyone knows is just for a no-questions-asked refund as long as the hours count is below two played.
I’m glad to hear GOG has an even better method of handling.

I just also have A Steam Library with like 1200+ titles, and it’s measured in Terabytes. And butrot in my physical media will be non zero, in long enough timescale.

Dude, i just installed Armada OS on sunday, and was lamenting the performance of games on my Snapdragon based handheld.
I updated a more preview or beta release, and it started downloading a bunch of new flavors of proton pack, including the Proton 11 cachy os flavor for ARM, and gaming performance roughly tripled for me. I stayed up for hours testing my games in utter amazement at what these little handhelds can do with the right translators.
To my knowledge, they peered with other registrars and hosts to manage the vending. At least, in 2008 ish they partnered almost exclusively with Apple (for their MobileMe cloud and email services issuing everyone dotME addresses) and GoDaddy. I think others had to resell somehow through them? But I could be mistaken on that detail.
Domain squatting was a very profitable scourge on the internet back before all the obvious names were brought up , but it was one of the few popular TLD’s to gain any real traction with consumers until dotAI.
I very briefly held, and did nothing with, “pants.me” which I regret to this day.
Seconded. I moved to Win10 LTSC IoT on some, Bazzite on others, and haven’t looked back.
I’m never loading naked spyware Win11 again.
When forced to move off win10iot I’ll go to win11iot for anything mission critical for windows.
But by then I’d better be 90% MacOS/Linux.
