The idea of repairable notebooks sound good, except it’s done by getting filtered through the tech bro lens. Still an ultrabook, the ports must be interchangeable modules to amaze the investors/users.

When my father’s boss pulled a similar thing, he got removed from the companies he owned.
“Chud” went from “terminally online right-wing freak” to “fatass”/“overeater”.

I think physical copies are still important, and if I ever go as far as selling my own games, I plan to sell them alongside the digital copies. I’ll see how much I can put into it after losing the 30% Gaben tax, likely a small box with installer DVD (or optionally USB stick if I will be able to find quality ones for cheap) + printed manual will be the baseline, then a Big Box edition for more money with some more goodies (soundtrack CDs + artbook + posters + other tats).

I’m begging my friends in the leftist IT group on Facebook to at least move to Discord, and they refuse.
Not anymore, you will get the AI sloppified versions only, and be lucky if it won’t get “dewoked” by the AI too.

They’re crappy, because they’re not centered in one place, multiple registrations needed, no addictive algorithm.
I have 30+ year old CDs still readable.
A lot of Switch cartridges now only have license keys.
