Wireguard is effectively blocked in China, from my experience so far.

I recommend Porkbun. I used to prefer Name. Com but they jacked prices too high, same with Doteasy. Admin UX at Porkbun also good, and a super wide variety of TLDs.

Many hosting providers won’t even let you try, they don’t want to host potential spammers.
I use two services that do work and alternate between them: Mullvad with Obfuscation turned on, and Ghelper paired with Shadowrocket (China side ones used by Chinese devs)
