Yes, mental.
(it’s a mirror of humanity)
Hmm, I would propose setting things up in your LAN step by step. But it would take a long time.
- setting up your own dns
- setting up your own webserver
It’s something someone experienced could make (poc style - proof of concept) in an hour or so, just to show how it works, but it’s a lot for a beginner.
Still, you could start making a simple Webserver hosting a page and then setting up dns for it and pointing a client to the dna server and see how that works.
It’s infinetly expandable.
I held off buying it but I wanted to give it a go for several reasons at one point.
It was cheap now so I tried it. So many unexplained components (and I’m not the hand holding playstyle guy) but I simply didn’t know the consequences of many things. If I lose a package what will happen? Do I have to track it immediately? Will it be gone? Too many what ifs for me.
Anyhow when I then lost everything I was carrying in a river I snapped and deleted it.
Yes, work

First off no, it’s not proprietary. Express SD cards are finally a speedy standard. But since they’re new they’re not available in many sizes and also expensive.
Nintendo explicitly states that for the switch 2, microSD EX(PRESS) is required. Otherwise I’d have assumed that it’s only required for switch 2 games, but they’re always required it seems
Actually, I’m not really sure. I mean I was sure at that time that it was a recommendation but as I am an autist (unbeknownst to me at that time) it could’ve been one of those ‘obviously’ not serious recommendations.
Yeah, some people are really bad at recommending a Distro for specific usage.
When I started with Linux, quite a while back, I was recommended gentoo.
It’s now my least favorite choice 😁

Define worth it for you.
The hardware is a great upgrade. And I don’t mean the insides, that seems fine. I mean the changed joycon slotting, the build quality, the stand.
I’d never go back to the first one in general. But. The EX SD cards are still expensive, sizes I’d need are not there and especially if most things are key cards you’d need more storage!
So being a nerd I still have (multiple of) switch 1, not replaced by switch 2. But I find both good, the rails on 1 suck (because of plastic blocker on the joycon thst wears off), both still have non echo thumbsticks so go for 8bitdo controllers but in general the switch 2 is a nice upgrade.
So if you want a switch go for the 2 imo.
Oh but the best Mario kart is 8 and it will likely stay that way.
A) hard to beat perfect B) intermediate routes…

Prepare for the second video game crash. Of course it will be the fault of piracy. Yarr.
Oh no who could have seen this coming! If you treat customers badly enough, they’ll jump ship. Wow. News at 11.
I think it can be a good thing, and while it is better than not doing it it is no comparison to an expert. This is not to say it’s worthless or anything though!
Physical media has long sailed but not drm free software.
(I’m not sure which of those you’re referring to, just clearly stating)

This could get interesting with the EU. It was ruled that the customer has the right to sell his license.
If someone defends this, Sony must provide a way to do that.

You know they’re polish right? The ones that were attacked by the nazis?
Context is everything.
Someone has to say it: when you’re asking these questions it shows that you still have a lot to learn. That itself is fine.
But you’re at significant risk when putting a service on the internet so it would be best maybe to have someone at your side to assist you with beginner mistakes.
I can just shake my head and say that humanity won’t make it. We are so obsessed with stealing things from others but making sure our offer is not stolen it’s insane.
Instead of really working together, which we are in dire need of currently.
