Microsoft is clearly not making decisions to benefit the customer. The best they can do is accidentally benefiting customers every once in a while. It’s simply not good enough, since Linux is literally made by customers with the express purpose to be the best for us. 😊

I did that when the Oblivion horse armor dropped and I felt strength and community in my little rural highschool of like-minded gamers that aligned on the “world we want to see”.
fast forward 20 years. our sacrifice doesn’t matter, companies run like big ocean trawlers and some retards will swim into the net and make it worth their while 😞
I’m shocked about this too but I think it’s hubris + the size of the market. Lots of dollars to be made, and so you get these slimy weasels with bland faces coming in, never having loved a game in their life, and coming to the conclusion: Oh gamers just stare at a screen with colorful things? Hey we could just make it a shop front, where you can buy colors in the colorful screen but pay us real money.
