The inclusion of the full name and capitalizing the Peanut Butter Cups is telling me this is an ad. So is the unnecessary inclusion of the photo.

I feel like a person making a joke would have just said peanut butter cups, or reeses cups, or maybe just reeses.

A non-marketing individual would have been more likely to find a photo of someone with chocolate on their face, rather than a glamour shot of a twix.

And only speculation, but the person in the profile pic doesn’t look like the type to make this age-group of joke.

All of that aside, the basis of the conversation is it’s own issue, it implies that both parents have gone through their kids candy for their own reasons, and one found the results interesting enough to bring it up later. Not that this is an actual scenario that happened.

Yeah I doubt they’re working on 30% fees. They’re not Ticketmaster.

I’m running openWRT on a nanopi R5S. It’s tiny, robust, cheap, and uses very little power. It came with FriendlyElec, a fork of openWRT designed specifically for the device, but if flashed the standard version onto it so I could get more support from reading forums. I don’t know if that was the right move.

It was a bitch to get set up right, but that’s due to my lack of experience, not the device. It didn’t help that there was a major update to OpenWRT/LuCI right in the middle of my figuring out the program, that drastically changed the GUI. It also didn’t help that I was setting up a NAS, and a proxmox server at the same time, so anytime something broke I had 3 system to troubleshoot.

All that aside, it’s been working great since setup with zero maintenance. It does get hot enough that I don’t set it on any other device, but it never throttles itself or overheats.

Fun idea, but to the majority of passersby who won’t look closely, it’s just an ad for Walmart.

I’m more okay with China spying on me than US companies. China doesn’t really have a way or motive to effect my life.
