It’s Teddy Roosevelt, for those unfamiliar.
Rhaedas
There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they’ve already enlisted in the cause. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear.

That answer is simple. They’re dumb. But the dumbest thing is that if he is alive, they could have avoided all this by just being upfront about his injury, give updates, etc., and be right where they are now except without the doubt. So either way, dumb.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” - Donald Trump
Oh, wait, sorry… that quote is from a real President.

In an interview before his first term he commented that we had nukes, why not use them? The response from his supporters was that he was just kidding or talking metaphorically. The same people who voted for him because he says what he means.

“The code is more what you call guidelines than actual rules.”
Except people were all over this the minute it came out, and while plenty labeled it as AI generated, it’s damn good if it is, as things line up well. The text isn’t a given, as pixelation from a phone camera can mutilate words. All AI slop I’ve seen fail at text badly, not blurred but still possibly the words.
Much more likely some inpainting, as the various ones like in this post did. Don’t have to gamble on the AI getting the newspaper right, just have to get the face matched well enough. People have been doing that with Photoshop for decades now.
If you can find a higher resolution picture than what was given to the public and show the words clearly as gibberish, then you’d be right.
Just like they’ve misunderstood or didn’t bother to look at song lyrics they claimed they were fans of.
Good alternative way of debunking. Now I’m not sure at all. I guess we’ve finally gotten to the point we were warned about. Long video is now the only sure thing, and even that won’t be soon.

There’s a lot of very small details that AI would have messed up. Like the background stuff in the picture seems to match okay. But AI is getting better, or they could have had a good photoshop expert. The lettering is due to the camera resolution, I don’t see anything off in word placement or length anywhere.
If it’s fake, then they’ll flub up soon enough somewhere else in continuing it.
Opens when you press it. Not finds a solution. Never has found a solution.
Explains why it responds/opens so quickly. Tight coding.
I’m a context before accuracy person. If I can understand what they’re saying and their point, I’ll let minor things go. I will go back and reedit my own mistakes though, over and over, because I can’t stand myself doing it. But I’m here for the discussion, not the grammar and spelling grading.

Already had one, why else do you think no one has contacted us yet? Wouldn’t you steer clear of this planet?

Even simpler. Remember when they tried to outlaw alcohol? But smuggling digital goods is far easier to do.

It’s profitable to greenwash. Every once in a while something legit gets through.

That makes sense. Wonder how much of that was considered in the test runs. Often times some of these green projects like to leave out the extras to pad their worth. At least this makes more sense than solar roads, which have so much more issues to deal with in wear and tear, even though the real estate is huge.

I get that, it must be something to consider, as well as just general dirt and other pollutants. But is that grease loss over the rails primarily or thrown everywhere? Someone who works the rails might know just from experience. Or the first run of this would have noted the problem, and maybe it wasn’t anything different than any other solar panel and what crap they pick up regardless of where they are. But ground level is about as easy access for cleaning as you can get.

Is there buildup of grease? I didn’t notice mention of it in the article. Being centered would give more exposure time vs. on the side where there might be trees. Having them above as a roof means more cost and structure to maintain, and accessibility issues. Maybe whatever they do get on them isn’t a lot over time and is easier to clean than dealing with the other options.

Again. This isn’t the first time corporations got “justice” or “help”, at our cost.
