It’s kind of dumb to say IT people want to union but “the industry” doesn’t want to.
Guess “who” is the industry? Yeah, you are right, it’s the IT people…

Desperate measure at this point. It’s not enough to shove “copilot” in all their software, they are now sending boots in your office to make you use it.
Back then, we used to call those “script kiddies”.
I am using Linux since the 90’s, so my reasons might be different from “to leave Windows”.
I started coding at an early age, so for me, having access to all my tools free-of-charge was a big plus. Add to that the possibility of read the source code of everything, the learning potential was mind blowing.
But bruh, “if it compiles, it works”. Who needs testing now that we have blazing safe rust with AI?

You won’t have that tech, you will rent a highly modified one at best, built with the purpose to manipulate you.
Remember: there is a club out there, and you are not part of it.
Yeah yeah, where are we now with all previous predictions in the last 18-24 months?
Aren’t we supposed to be all out of work right now? That coding is a solved problem? What about all the previous doom-callings?
Oh, what? Didn’t happen? Maybe because these hypemakers are just full of shit.
